Day 1 - Rhu to Crianlarich
Starting from my parents place in Rhu I cycled over to Luss and up the side of Loch Lomond and on to Crianlarich.
Just as I was setting up camp (in a field not far from the train station) the heavens opened and the rain didn’t let up right through the night. It wasn’t the most comfortable of nights with the rain keeping me awake for most of it but at least I got to test if my new tent was waterproof.
Sitting their in the dark in my cramped little tent with nothing but the rain for company I was beginning to think this whole thing was a terribly bad idea and maybe I should just get on the first train back to Glasgow.
Day 2 - Train to Fort William & Mallaig and on to Skye
