Getting ready to head off on our 7th day of cycling. This is our last full day and will be a tough one. We’re heading back inland from St. Bees to Windermere, but there seems to be some pretty big mountains in the way
Currently plotting a longer, but slightly less hilly route, but it’s still going to be up and down all day and the weather forecast isn’t great.

Team morale is good, although we’re not in the best shape this morning. Ade’s not feeling well and we’re delaying our start till 10am to see if he feels a bit better. Paul’s still soldiering on with half his gears missing after wrecking his middle chainring on day 3 and I’ve got a very sore knee after a minor crash yesterday.

Should be an interesting day!
