Glasgow to Rhu
March 21st, 2008This is the route I generally use to get to my folks house in Rhu. A fairly easy route really, except you need to watch out for the broken glass on the cycle path at Whiteinch. Oh, and that hill at the end is an absolute killer!
This route is approx 30 miles and generally take me around 2 hours depending on whether I take my camera along for the ride or not.
There are a couple of other routes I intend to use for this journey later in the year. Both of which add considerable mileage by going via Balloch and Glen Fruin, while the second one also takes in Garelochhead, Rosneath, Kilcreggan and Cove (including the murderous Peaton Hill) and comes in at around 62 miles.
